Dimensions: 10'10" X 22 1/2" X 3 1/2" - A ground breaking model of its time. Developed in 1963-1964. It was a great all around board that performed and functioned well for boards of that time. An excellent combination of speed and maneuverability and a great all around board.
The "QS" Glider (short for Quarter Speed) This particular Quarter speed from 1964 that we have selected for our Vault Series was discovered by Joel Tudor. Joel discovered that Larry Gordon shaped it and felt it was an exceptional board that rides like a glider. He brought the original to us and told us we should scan it to have in our archives, as it was a great representation of a G&S shape by Larry Gordon that we needed to replicate exactly and we did! Most of our boards are hand-shapes but this one is authentic to the original exactly- a True Reproduction! We took a template off the glassed - on fin (can be made with a box also) and made a Resin Tail block. Glassed in our Factory with 10 oz Volan and a 100% gloss resin for a polish with a show room shine. Get one to show or ride...or both.
